Hello there! It has been a long time since I've last updated this blog. There have been some big changes for me. The biggest change being that I moved to a new school district. I'm teaching Second Grade now. It's been a lot of fun, but not without challenges. The other big thing that happened is that my computer crashed and I lost all of my stuff like my files that I planned to share on TPT. Originally, I also lost 22k photos, but they have been recovered, luckily. Even the guy at Apple could not help me. So, I'm basically starting over with everything.
My school year has been extremely busy. I was originally hired for a Kindergarten position but was told Thursday afternoon (my first day), come Monday, I would be teaching 2nd Grade. Since I was the newest and extra teacher on board, I had no materials, curriculum, manipulatives, or anything. I've finally gotten things figured out and feel somewhat comfortable with where I am. In the next few weeks, please stay tuned. I'm going to be reviewing some items I purchased from the TPT store and showing you how they worked out in my class. I'm also in the midst of putting together a Polar Animals pack with reading passages and brochure template.
So here's to a new year. I can't promise I will be posting like a wild woman, but I will be posting more often.
